We have been back in Michigan for almost two months now and it has been amazing (minus the house hunting part, which did not go so well)! Spring has sprung, mostly. The birds are singing, the rain comes and goes all day, Mila smells the flowers on our daily walks.
Being around family and friends again is indescribable. I can remember before we moved, days we knew we would be visiting family were usually dreaded. We were ungrateful and if I took anything away from being in another state, it's the fact I will never be like that again. We have been spending as much time with friends and family as everyone can handle and we have been busy, busy, busy! We've seen the butterflies at Frederik Meijer Gardens, gone to the park countless times, played with the puppies and cats and all of the other animals our families have and so much more. It is so, so, so, SO good to be home! (Also, notice the AH-MAZING African Violets my mother in law gave me on my birthday, I'm in love!)
